It’s really simple: you send me a dollar via Paypal, I make you an ad campaign. You can check the About Arafat page for a mini bio, i.e. to see whether I’m really qualified.

Here are the general terms and conditions. I imagine this is always subject to change. Right now, for example, I’m writing an “About” page without actually having written a blog. Once this gets under way, there will be examples of work.

Deliverables

I will give you a solution to your problem. This will be a creative strategy which will most probably include a tagline and an advertising guideline. If circumstances permit, I’ll try and ask art director buddies to pitch in and make an ad or two. But my main job is to provide a campaign outline and some execution ideas. You should be able to take my solution to a graphic designer and get your ad made. I will help in every way I can.

The Brief

At professional agencies, there’s always a creative brief which outlines the brand, specific guidelines, problem at hand, etc. I’m assuming that most of my customers will be people who haven’t dealt with agencies before, and that’s fine. This is not rocket science. Let me just say this: I am taking this seriously. I expect you to do the same. So please be patient when I ask you many, many questions. Identifying the problem is an important step in creating a solution.

Solutions

My solution will not necessarily take the form of a print or video ad (which is what most people associate with “advertising”). As the jargon goes, I am media-agnostic. I might ask you to start a Twitter or a blog. We might try and create a simple video. There are many roads to brand actualization and the idea is that we work together to reach the one that takes you there the fastest.
